To Uncle John and Aunt Pat: It has been almost 30 years since I have seen you last. It saddens me that my last message will reach you by blog. I know that you had a rough life and wish I could have been there to help you through your illness. Your nephews and cousins have carried your torch of freedom and serving this great country for you. As well as your great nephews who do so willingly and proudly. I know that your brother has missed you terribly over the years; as has my siblings. I am sure you had a good life and from the picture a happy one. I am sad that we were not there to Honor you, but know that we carry you in our hearts.
